We are happy to welcome Christian Ringen to Nordic Credit Rating as a compliance officer. Christian Ringen will be based in Oslo and focus on NCR's compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including NCR's registration with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the European credit rating agency regulatory framework EC No 1060/2009. Christian Ringen will amongst other tasks also manage NCR's dialogue with other regulatory counterparties such as the European Banking Authority and Norwegian Finanstilsynet.
Christian Ringen joins after eight years with positions in Nordnet Bank and Nordnet Livsforsikring. With experience from compliance and risk functions in a Nordic environment, and experience with board and management positions we see him as an important addition to the NCR team. He has multiple executive master programs and a business administration degree from BI Norwegian Business School.
